Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion 20 Review: Features, Pros & Cons
Design and Construction
The Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion Pro 20 Gallon Premium starter Kit is far from your back in the days fish bowl which . . ..let’s be honest here, wasn’t big enough for 1 betta.
This aquarium starter kit is more or less a small scale version of your top of the line massive aquariums. The Nano 20 Gallon Premium starter Kit comes with a tank, a hood and a beautiful stand.
The Nuvo Fusion 20’s dimension is 24 inches in length, 15 inches in width and 13 inches 6mm in height.
This 20 gallon-er fish tank is definitely not small, but it is not too big for noobs and rookies either. The tank is a square glass, no curves, which give you maximum crystal clear visibility.
Having said that, the glass tank is notorious for cracking. Ouch! Not a good sign. The hood and stand (stand bought separately) come in black which makes the entire setup look very chic and contemporary.
The Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion Nano 20 Gallon Premium starter Kit also includes a new clamp-on Skye LED which is specifically made to be attached on to the rim of the Fusion Nano aquarium tank. The LED light have alternating 3 watt blue and white illuminations (each clamp boasts 6 x 3 watt LEDs which is 3 x 10K and 3 x 456nm) which offer the tank just the right amount of power, visibility and heat to create a soothing and comfortable atmosphere all while looking fabulous.
There has to be something said about the quality of these lights however. Although they work brilliantly, they work only while it lasts. The lights have a bad rep for having a short life span. If you want something more professional to grow corals then check out this one.
The pump in the Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion Nano 20 Gallon Premium starter Kit offers you 326 GPH and has a flexible hose and return elbows with dual directional flow nozzles. Convenient and smart. Enough circulation for most of the soft corals and zoanthids.
- Great beginner tank
- Easy to set up
- Low maintenance
- Little bit noisy
- Misinformed product details
- Tanks tends to crack sometimes
- Not so great LED lights

Well, folks, that was our detailed and honest review of the Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion Nano 20 Gallon Premium starter Kit. And to give you a 100%, we are going to admit that we don’t feel too hopeful about this starter kit. Yes, we have heard some great things, but we are finding it terribly hard to convince ourselves that the Innovative Marine Nuvo Fusion Nano 20 Gallon Premium Starter Kit is a worthy, qualified product.
